Healthy Lifestyle is simply one of the secret or right Way To Healthy Living. Health is wealth, it is mandatory for every living being to take proper care of their health and general wellbeing to ensure you get the best out of life as regards your health.

Think about it, there is no sane human that loves to fall sick but since we are human, there are chances that we fall sick at some point in our life. Some infections or diseases are preventable if proper healthy measures and lifestyle is being practiced from time to time as you know prevention is better and cheaper than cure.

On this post, we are considering the healthy lifestyle choices for every woman from their teen age up to old age. Keeping these things in mind will go a long way in helping you maintain a healthier life and comfort.

To live a healthy lifestyle at any stage in your life, every woman should ensure the following steps are taking on a daily basis.

Daily Healthy Lifestyle Approach – Every day I will try to:

• Maintain a healthy diet
• Make sure you get not less than 30 minutes of daily physical activities or exercise
• Ensure you get enough sleep of not less than 7 hours
• Keep a daily watch on your weight to maintain healthy weight
• Do everything you can to quit smoking and avoid second hand smoking if you don’t smoke
• Avoid excessive intake of alcohol or don’t drink at all
• Abstain from drug abuse or misuse prescription drugs
• Wear a helmet when riding a bike and protective gear for sports
• Always wear your seatbelt when in cars
• Take 400 to 800 mcg of folic acid

 

Healthy Lifestyle Approach If You’re in your 20s! What can you do to live a healthier life?

To live a healthy life – Talk to my doctor at least once a year about:

• Whether I plan to have children in the next year or the right birth control for me
• My weight, diet, and physical activity level
• My tobacco and alcohol use
• Any violence in my life
• Depression and any other mental health concerns
• My family health history, especially of cancer
• Protecting myself from the sun and the hazards of tanning

Ask if I need these tests, medicines, or vaccines this year:

• Blood pressure
• Chickenpox
• Cholesterol
• Flu
• Hepatitis B and hepatitis C
• HIV
• HPV vaccine (26 and younger*)
• Measles, mumps, and rubella
• Pap (21 and older*)
• Sexually transmitted infections (including chlamydia and gonorrhea tests for women 24 and younger*)
• Tetanus, diphtheria, or whooping cough
Tuberculosis

If you are pregnant, prenatal care can also be a well-woman visit. There are also certain tests during pregnancy to check your and your baby’s health. Visit your doctor to learn what you can do before, during, and after pregnancy to give your baby a healthy start to life and to take care of yourself, too.
